The first beam measurement with the injector TDS has been done

The first beam measurement with the injector TDS has been done May, 24,2016.
This is a great achievement for the complete TDS team in Moscow and Hamburg!

27.05.2016. Yesterday the first slice emittance measurement was performed at the XFEL injector. This was achieved only 2 days after the TDS became available for beam measurements.
The very good news is that the slice emittance is measured around 0.5 mm mrad at 0.5 nC. To our knowledge that is the smallest emittance measured at this charge and exceeds our initial goal by almost a factor of 2.
